To launch its new Zenergy, Time Traveler, and Yours Truly spectrum, Valspar required a site that was visually stunning while to-the-point and FCB provided that with its design. Intersect’s role was to bring the sweeping palette dioramas to life with an accordion html5 animation and parallax scrolling effects. Users of the site can share both the site and color palettes on Pinterest or Facebook.

Because Valspar’s server is set up to forward mobile users to a separate experience, this site was not developed to be responsive down to mobile dimensions.

    In tandem with the launch of the 2014 Color Trends site, FCB wanted a mobile-enabled, Like-gated Facebook app where users could preview the upcoming colors. By using a server script to forward desktop users to the Facebook app url, mobile Facebook users could still use the site from within their apps, while desktop users got the app view instead.

    All the staples of a product landing page are featured in this Valspar Reserve one-pager, including YouTube integration, API connection to Bazaarvoice’s ratings service, and locator integration through Where2GetIt.
